Salt Roots

The mists dance across the waters. They dip their toes excitedly in and float across the ripples of their existence. The suns reach their searing fingertips through the mist and paint fractals in the air with their skin. They dance woven in their orbits around the world of oceans, and give their light to warm, and to burn. The moon smiles it's gratitude in the cooling of the waters, and heals the sun-scarred mist through the night. This world bears it's own in flowing seas and rhythm, without the unheeding permanence of land.  

Thus are it's races: appreciative of the chaos that is the nature of their world, and taken with the rhythm of the currents. It's people are written into existence with as much beauty and erratic nature as the world around them. The Transcendent move as spirits in the deep, only seen from the surface as bodiless lights flickering softly through the water as they flash in and out of existence at will.
